They have now released a $400 version of the PS3, and are reintroducing the DualShock controller, and via a patch on the network, all previous games released before its market release will be compatible. this means sony has the Dualshock back, rumble and all. Also, a Blu-Ray player at $400 is now quite tempting, considering the default price. So, buying a premium xbox 360 plus the HD-DVD drive now officialy makes a person semi-retarded. Also, PS3 game line-up is starting to improve DRAMATICALLY. It now has in its line-up: Resistance: Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet and Clank Future, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 13 battles, probably KH3 (though that may jumps sony's exclusive ship), Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, KillZone 2, and the PS3 home system. guys, do your reasearch before just bashing PS3, it's a capable, hardy machine, and in later generations it will show just what problems the 360 has. PS3 is in its first generation, developers are still having trouble programming with the cell processor, but in due time, sony could once again rule the gaming market. I'm not saying the 360 or the wii are bad, and in reality i prefer the aforementioned. But, one cannot deny PS3 is getting back in the game, and Sony won E3 the most. So, brace yourselves, we could have an all out console war on our hands, the likes of which have not been seen since the SNES/Genesis days. |
