alright kiddies, time for you to put your unwavering fanboyism aside and stfu. listen up, Sony is back in the game. They have now released a $400 version of the PS3, and are reintroducing the DualShock controller, and via a patch on the network, all previous games released before its market release will be compatible. this means sony has the Dualshock back, rumble and all. Also, a Blu-Ray player at $400 is now quite tempting, considering the default price. So, buying a premium xbox 360 plus the HD-DVD drive now officialy makes a person semi-retarded. Also, PS3 game line-up is starting to improve DRAMATICALLY. It now has in its line-up: Resistance: Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet and Clank Future, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 13 battles, probably KH3 (though that may jumps sony's exclusive ship), Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, KillZone 2, and the PS3 home system. guys, do your reasearch before just bashing PS3, it's a capable, hardy machine, and in later generations it will show just what problems the 360 has. PS3 is in its first generation, developers are still having trouble programming with the cell processor, but in due time, sony could once again rule the gaming market. I'm not saying the 360 or the wii are bad, and in reality i prefer the aforementioned. But, one cannot deny PS3 is getting back in the game, and Sony won E3 the most. So, brace yourselves, we could have an all out console war on our hands, the likes of which have not been seen since the SNES/Genesis days.

well cory, beat cory in a match, and kill his ego plox.
9  Point Blank / Join the Clan / Re: i will join on: November 05, 2007, 10:53:46 am
I have no clue why I even asked that Tongue

Its easy, because he has a questionable ability for leadership. An ego due to winning player matches is unneeded. we should base leadership on what games members are strongest at, so that we almost have a democracy. Id be leader of Team Fortress 2, Thug of Halo 3 (most likely), cory (california) of COD4 (maybe) and blake......well blake doesnt have a specialty. as for the other members, if they would actually log on, we could assign them leadership. of course, the point is rather moot (no blake not a chan reference) as none of u will ever play the genius that is Team Fortress 2. ahh well...
10  Point Blank / Game related Announcements / The Video Game Critic on: October 22, 2007, 11:31:00 am
For those of you really sick and tired of the sites like IGN, Gamespy, and Gamespot, at least review wise (theyre still great for news and updates), or if you want to be a vintage game collector, have i got the guy for you. Alright, the video game critic is a guy. one guy. his site is devoted to giving you honest reviews, short in sweet. he gives you everything ign gives you in their reviews. Except he is somehow able to tell you more with his one paragraph reviews than igns 8 page monstrosities. he also talks to all of the members of the site, and takes request and does the best he can to fulfill them. However, he reviews games as he gets them, and he gets what interests him, so you might have to wait. So, for anyone who wants to collect vintage games, or wants nice short reviews, or just wants to meet someone awesome on the internet, Dave (the critic) is the guy for you.

his site is: www.videogamecritic.net

good for you.
14  Point Blank / Screen shots. / The rules on: October 12, 2007, 03:34:29 pm
here is where you post any cool game related images you want to share with the public. This goes for ALL games, including ones from other systems. Concept art, game screenshots, character posts, comics, whatever, can all go here. A possible option is creating a sticky for all members, and they can have a storage center on the site to pull pictures from, instead of having to load up photobucket.
15  Point Blank / Game related Announcements / Microsoft to Lose a big trump card on: October 12, 2007, 11:05:17 am
It is confirmed, Bungie has left Microsoft to work on other projects, even for other systems. It is unknown whether or not this means Halo ports to other systems or if the halo IP is still exclusive to microsoft.

In other news, Bioware and Pandemic studios have been purchased by EA. The former has produced KOTOR, Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate, and is in development of a sonic RPG for the Nintendo DS. The other studio, Pandemic, is well known for the "Destroy All Humans" Franchise.
his purchase by EA could be good or bad. EA is known mostly for its licensed games and Madden, but they have announced that they plan to branch out in the gaming department. One upcoming title developed by EA is "Dead Space", and is planned to be up there with "Gears of War" and "Halo" in terms of popularity. Whether EA uses Bioware and Pandemic studios to good use is yet to be known.
